It's the one day when I was asked to dine in a vegetarian restaurant, which I rarely do since joining company A, that I found out about the free 10-day meditation camp.
It's the other day when I read about the Bersih 2.0, found out about the secretive mind-conditioning scheme of our incumbent government, and from the result of googling the word, that I found out about Mind.
Mind, according to this article, explained few things:
- The reason men like fast car, sex and non-committal love affair is so that he can stop thinking. Thinking is the main purpose of Mind.
- Mind, by my conclusion reading the article, is the core of feminine nature, because Mind cannot live in content of the present, Mind loves comparison, Mind loves contemplation and doubt and finally, Mind gets bored easily yet wants to explore in the comfort of its experience.
OK, I might be kidding a little, but accordingly, Mind cannot and should not be stopped by momentous and dangerous fast driving, or sporadic experience of passionate sex and falling-in-love. In fact, attempt of stopping Mind in such manners causes further entanglement with Mind as it gets used to it.
Mind can only be tamed by Meditation.
So I guess I have a new friend to meet this coming Hari Raya long weekends :)
